FEES

At Kain and Ball Family Law Lawyers, we strive continuously to offer our clients the best legal representation at the lowest cost possible. We understand that it is important for you to be able to plan ahead in terms of your finances, as legal fees can be a significant expense, so we do everything we can to ensure that you know what to expect in terms of your fees. During your initial consultation appointment, you will be presented with a schedule of all of our fees, so that you know what our fee structure is from the outset. At that time, you should feel free to ask any questions you may have about our fees. The finance team at Kain & Ball works very hard to ensure that you are never caught by surprise by your legal fees through open communication and notification on a regular basis.

In some circumstances, when dealing with relatively uncomplicated cases, such as uncontested divorces, separation agreements where no negotiation is required, and certain marriage contracts, we may be able to provide you with an estimate the total fees during your initial consultation appointment. However, when dealing with more complicated cases, such as those involving child custody and access issues, property disputes, or support issues, it is not generally possible to provide a fee estimate because fees largely depend on the particulars of each client’s situation as well as the complexity of case.

Our entire legal team is here to answer your questions and provide support. Do not hesitate to speak to your lawyer or our finance team if you have any questions about your legal fees.
